Event Recap: Breaking Boundaries – Tackling Regional Challenges Through Transnational Innovation   

Brussels Belgium– October 2024  – On October 8, 2024, at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre, we gathered for Breaking Boundaries: Tackling Regional Challenges Through Transnational Innovation. The event brought together thought leaders and innovators from across Europe to explore collaborative approaches to overcoming regional challenges.

We were honored by the presence of Mr. Michiel Scheffer, President of the European Innovation Council (EIC), who expressed his appreciation for the efforts and insights shared by all partners. Mr. Scheffer highlighted the importance of such collaborative initiatives in fostering a stronger, more innovative Europe.

During the event, we explored the RinnoValleys Project, a transnational initiative connecting regions from Catalonia, Greece, Malta, Hungary, Brussels, and Ireland to enhance access to the European Innovation Council. The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration, creativity, and networking in tackling regional challenges and driving sustainable innovation.
