Envolve Award Greece: The application deadline is extended to May 31st
Athens, May 2nd 2018 – Following the positive response to its Greek entrepreneurship roadshow, Envolve (http://EnvolveGlobal.org) has announced an extension to the application deadline for the 2018 Envolve Award Greece (formerly the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award) to the 31st of May. During the recent 13 city tour, ambitious entrepreneurs presented their ideas and learnt more about the work of Envolve. The application deadline has been extended in response to exceptionally high levels of interest for this year’s award. The judges have reported that there are many promising, innovative and sustainable business ideas among the entries already submitted.
The Envolve team will continue to promote the award programme across Greece. On May 16th, they will host an event in Athens to inform young entrepreneurs about the progress of the awards and explain how Envolve can support the entrepreneurship community. Additionally, a second city tour will take place in Crete, between May 17th and 19th, during which the team will visit Heraklion, Rethimno and Chania in search of new innovative business ideas.
Envolve’s mission rests on three pillars: education, resources and awards. The non-profit organization is providing education for start-up and early stage businesses while leveraging partnerships that increase availability of entrepreneurship resources. The award program in Greece is conducted on behalf of The Hellenic Initiative and enjoys the support of the numerous organizations such as Antidote, Atradius, epixeiro.gr, I.A.D.R., Intracom Telecom, Ioannis Vassardanis & Partners Law Firm, Kyvernitis Travel, Lykourezos Law Offices, Microsoft, Moore Stephens, People for Business, Reed Smith, SAP Hellas, Onassis Cultural Centre, V+O Communication and White Room.
The application deadline for the Envolve Award Greece is 31 May 2018. Finalists will be announced in October 2018 and winners will be announced in November 2018.
