Sunday, March 22, 2020

Laura Mae Martin, Google’s Executive Productivity Advisor, shares her productivity strategies for working from home a list of companies who offer free versions of their softwares during the Coronavirus epidemic.

  • Designate your “spot” where you work (and where you don’t) – add your snack stash.
  • Use Google Hangouts – if bandwidth is not on your side, dial into a video call but get audio through your phone.
  • Practice “one tab working.”
  • Act the part – get dressed and eat breakfast.
  • Play around with your schedule and energy.
  • Working from home does not mean working all the time.
  • Create your daily to-do list the day before.
  • Finish that one thing you’ve been meaning to do – Check out Google Keep.
  • Cut yourself (and others) some slack
