Envolve has chosen Ioannina as the host city for the 9th CASSINI Hackathon in Greece, an event focused on finding solutions in the healthcare sector through the use of space-based technologies. The three-day CASSINI Hackathon will take place at the “Dimitris Chatzis” Cultural Center from May 16–18, 2025.
The hackathon aims to bring together students, developers, researchers, space tech enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs to tackle real-world challenges in healthcare by leveraging European space technologies—including satellite data, artificial intelligence, and geospatial technologies.
This initiative explores how innovations originally developed for outer space can be reimagined to improve health systems on Earth, creating a unique intersection between space exploration and medical advancement.
