Based in Messinia, Stella Mare is a seafood business focused on sardines and anchovies from the Greek seas. The company’s state-of-the-art factory is now complete and the company is undertaking comprehensive trials before full-scale production commences. Over 150 direct and indirect jobs have been created since May 2013. Stella Mare fillets and organically processes the fish, preserving the finished product in a unique blend of organic olive oil, vinegar, herbs and spices. Backed by significant investment since winning the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award, the company is planning on strong sales and marketing activity in export markets.
