RInnoValleys Project Hosted Event on Startup Growth through EIC Accelerator
Athens – October 2024 – As part of the RInnoValleys initiative, the event “Scaling Startup Success: How the EIC Accelerator Fuels Growth” took place on the 22nd of October at Pi55 Coworking in Athens. Entrepreneurs, SMEs, Startups, investors, and representatives from European Innovation Council (EIC) gathered to explore how the EIC programmes have supported startups through tools and services related to funding opportunities, mentorship, and networking activities (to name a few), to drive their market success.
- Alexandros Nousias, Managing Director of Envolve Entrepreneurship giving a short presentation on how Envolve supports Innovation and Startup Ecosystems
- Panagiotis Alex Sevdalis, Policy Officer, European Innovation Council, European Commission, attracting the participants’ interest with a presentation focusing on accomplishments of EIC so far, giving details on the EIC accelerator process and presenting some impact numbers, reflecting the usefulness of the EIC services.

Dr. Vassilis Tsanidis, Innovation Procurement Advisor, European Innovation Council / EISMEA, enlightened the audience through a presentation on EIC Business Acceleration Services, that have helped numerous Startups to achieve business scaling up. Additionally, he gave an overview focusing on EIC Partnerships Programmes, EIC International Trade Fairs, the EIC Innovation Ecosystems, the EIC Coaching and shared with the audience some insights on how to scale up and thrive.
