Envolve is seeking the next 20 innovative businesses for the EnvolveXL acceleration program
EnvolveXL announces its first five investments in CityCrop, Coinbux, Kleesto, Travelr, and Vivestia.

Athens, Greece – 14 November 2024 – Envolve Entrepreneurship (https://envolveglobal.org) announces the launch of the second open call of its acceleration program, EnvolveXL, and is searching for 20 innovative businesses, who will receive support, guidance, international networking, and the opportunity to secure investments of up to €265,000. Envolve also announces the first investments in five cohort members that participated in EnvolveXL’s first acceleration cycle: CityCrop (https://citycrop.io), Coinbux (https://coinbux.co), Kleesto (https://kleesto.com), Travelr (https://travelr.gr), and Vivestia (https://thevivestia.com). EnvolveXL, funded and supported by Libra Philanthropies (https://libraphilanthropies.org/), is an intensive four-month acceleration program that includes, among other things, support from the idea design stage to investment stage, exclusive seminars, consulting services, networking and promotional events, mentoring, and funding opportunities. Additionally, with the support of Libra Philanthropies, five companies in each annual acceleration cycle may receive total investments of up to €265,000, as part of EnvolveXL’s “Investing for Good” approach.

The first cycle of EnvolveXL, onboarded 20 teams operating in 9 sectors with a presence in 4 different countries, while 13 teams were selected for the main acceleration program, receiving intensive and specialized support from more than 35 professionals and entrepreneurs. On July 3rd, 2024, the 13 teams had the opportunity to present their ventures live, to a vibrant audience of entrepreneurs and investors at the EnvolveXL Demo Day, including representatives from Bayer Hellas, Microsoft, Ferryhopper, Venture Friends, Uni.Fund, Metavallon, Apeiron VC, Bespot, Astylab Ventures, and others. As the key event for the outreach and networking of EnvolveXL cohort members and a meeting point for the startup ecosystem, the Demo Day was a unique opportunity to attract investment opportunities and promote collaborations. One of the first success stories from the program’s initial cycle is the recent investment of €750,000 in Circuland (https://circuland.co.uk/) by Apeiron VC and AstyLab Ventures.

Meanwhile, the final stage of support and investment of EnvolveXL’s first cycle continues under the “Investing for Good” framework, where Envolve and Libra Philanthropies will carefully evaluate and select up to three startups, which will compete for total investments of up to €200,000.
