FU-TOURISM 5.0 is a European Union co-funded project supporting tourism SMEs in their transition towards greener, more digital, and resilient business models. The project focuses on strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of the tourism sector through innovation, capacity building, and cross-border collaboration. Through funding programmes, mentoring, Living Labs, and knowledge-sharing activities, FU-TOURISM aims to help tourism businesses adopt sustainable practices and accelerate their green and digital transition across Europe.
Project Objectives
- Strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of tourism SMEs through sustainability, innovation, and digitalisation.
- Support the green and digital transition of tourism businesses using regenerative economy principles.
- Develop collaborative Living Labs and sustainable tourism strategies at UNESCO pilot destinations.
- Foster cross-border cooperation, peer learning, and knowledge exchange among tourism stakeholders across Europe.
- Provide training, mentoring, and direct financial support to tourism SMEs through acceleration and scaling-up programs.
Envolve Entrepreneurship participates as a core beneficiary and Work Package 2 Lead, coordinating the implementation of the SME support programs across the consortium.
Envolve is responsible for:
- Leading the implementation of the Acceleration and Scaling Up Programs.
- Designing and managing the project open calls and SME selection process.
- Organising training programmes, mentoring sessions, workshops, and matchmaking events.
- Coordinating SME support activities across all participating countries.
- Supporting knowledge sharing, dissemination of best practices, and stakeholder engagement activities.
