SpaceVantage (Building Future-Ready Space Innovation Through Education-Enterprise Synergies) is a European Union co-funded project aiming to bridge the skills gap in the rapidly evolving space sector. Through the collaboration of universities, vocational education and training providers, research organizations, and companies from the space industry, the project develops innovative educational pathways and collaboration mechanisms between education and the labor market.
The project focuses on the digital, green, and deep-tech skills required for space sector applications, such as satellite data analysis, artificial intelligence, Earth Observation technologies, and sustainable development. At the same time, it fosters entrepreneurship and innovation within the emerging European “New Space” ecosystem.
The main objectives of the project are:
- The development of a European skills framework for the space sector, aligned with European standards (EQF/ESCO).
- The creation of an innovative educational programme integrating digital, green, and deep-tech skills.
- The enhancement of entrepreneurship and innovation through incubation and startup support mechanisms.
- The promotion of collaboration between academic institutions and businesses within the space ecosystem.
- The development of micro-credentials and flexible learning pathways for students and professionals.

Our Role in the Project
Envolve is the coordinator of the SpaceVantage project and is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the project.
At the same time, ENVOLVE leads activities related to:
- quality assurance and strategic project monitoring,
- strengthening entrepreneurship and innovation in the space sector,
- connecting education with the labor market,
- creating synergies between universities, startups, and industry,
- communication, dissemination, and sustainability of the project’s results.
