transforming regions
The Project
RInnoValleys is a project funded by the European Union, aiming to transform regions into innovation valleys.
Aiming to enhance the innovation capabilities of EU regions by creating a joint transnational action RInnoValleys plans to connect with the European Innovation Council (EIC) ecosystem. The European Innovation Council is vital for fostering innovation and supporting cutting-edge technologies. However, numerous regions encounter barriers like limited funding, weak infrastructure, and underdeveloped innovation policies. RInnoValleys aims to bridge this gap by enhancing capabilities, and fostering inclusive, gender-diverse, and connected innovation ecosystems, setting the stage for long-term change, requiring the implementation of an action plan to establish new practices and ensure continued progress.
The project ensures the involvement of key innovation players from government, academia, industry, and civil society, promoting inclusivity across all EU territories, including rural areas aligning regional innovation policies with the New European Innovation Agenda.

Webinars
Our partners, Acceler8 and CEAI, have jointly developed two transnational training sessions aimed at strengthening the capacity of regional stakeholders, including key actors from the quadruple helix: government, industry, academia, and civil society.
These sessions were designed in response to the specific needs identified for effectively implementing the joint action plan and enhancing engagement with the European Innovation Council (EIC). Participants will gain valuable insights into EIC-specific knowledge, learn strategies for impactful networking, and explore methods for measuring and maximizing the impact of interregional collaborations.
Through these training opportunities, stakeholders will be equipped to leverage EIC resources and foster stronger partnerships across regions.
