SAP Hellas and Envolve Entrepreneurship Launch “Restart Your Future” to Reskill Displaced Youth  
 

• The 4-month program offers soft and digital skills, mentorship and job opportunities for displaced adults aged 18-30.

ATHENS (5 April 2023) – Envolve Entrepreneurship (https://greece.envolveglobal.org) and SAP Hellas (https://www.sap.com) announce the launch of the “Restart Your Future” program (https://bit.ly/restart_your_future) to help displaced young adults aged 18-30 from around the world gain critical interpersonal and digital skills, mentorship, and job opportunities. On April 11 at 16:00, Envolve and SAP will hold a free online informational session to share opportunities in the labor market and how “Restart your Future” can support the professional goals and dreams of young refugees and other displaced individuals.

Facilitated by the Community Foundation Ireland, “Restart your Future” seeks to support the reskilling and upskilling of displaced young adults, aiming to mitigate the digital gap between employers’ needs for skills and knowledge regarding tech-related jobs, or any other job which requires tech literacy, and the skills of young refugees and migrants seeking professional advancement and equal opportunities in a foreign country. The program includes courses, workshops, empowerment sessions, and mentoring by SAP employees, offering a holistic approach to training and skills development as well as sharing labor market trends, the hiring processes and required documentation.

The program is open to all displaced youth across the world, aged 18-30, and will be conducted online in English over four months by Envolve and SAP executives. The informational session on Tuesday, 11 April at 16:00 will provide an overview of the program and workshop topics, as well as labor market trends and the latest developments from the tech scene.
