Agriculture and Fashion industries are two of the most impactful industries. F&F’s rationale is that they show similarities regarding their level of sustainability. They are two of the most polluting industries, with enormous environmental footprint. The margin for improvement in terms of sustainability and circularity is huge. F&F aims to increase knowledge about the intersection and cross fertilization of fashion & food as cultural industries. This will be achieved through the development of a series of educational modules that will update the competencies of BA/MA students to the actual and perspective needs of the two sectors and to their increasing convergence, concentrating on the key issue of circular economy, sustainability, communication and tools for digital media analysis and visual analysis, with a cultural and interdisciplinary approach. Food and Fashion for Sustainability is a project funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ Programme.
