As an Electrical Design Engineer at BionicX, you’ll play a crucial role in crafting the electronic heart of our bionic prosthetic devices. You’ll design cutting-edge circuits and control systems, ensuring seamless integration of motors, sensors, and power management. From concept to production, your work will directly shape groundbreaking technologies that transform lives.

Responsibilities

  • Circuit Design: Design and develop bionic prosthetics’ electronic circuits and control systems.
  • Schematics & Layouts: Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD tools.
  • Optimization: Optimize circuit designs for power efficiency, signal integrity, and space constraints.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure smooth communication between hardware and software components.
  • Testing & Simulation: Conduct simulations and testing for circuit validation and performance optimization.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design specifications and revisions

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or similar—or proven experience delivering exceptional circuit design and product development.
  • CAD Tools: Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle).
  • Circuit Knowledge: Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Motor Controllers: Experience with motor controllers and sensor interfaces for robotic systems.
  • Low-Power Design: Familiarity with low-power design and EMI/EMC best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of power electronics, motors, and control systems.
  • Bonus Experience: Knowledge of bionics, robotics, or assistive technologies is highly desirable.
