EnvolveXL invests in the Greek innovation ecosystem, supporting 100 startups over the next 5 years

Athens, 9 January 2024 – One month left for the submission of applications for the new acceleration program for startups, EnvolveXL, by Envolve Entrepreneurship (https://envolveglobal.org). Those interested can submit their business ventures until Friday, February 9th, at https://envolveglobal.org/envolveXL/apply. In the following five years, EnvolveXL will offer a targeted acceleration program, supporting the overall growth of 100 Greece-based or Greek-founded startups globally. Each year, it will support 20 businesses, while also invest in the top five ventures with a total amount of up to €265,000.
Envolve Entrepreneurship’s acceleration program, EnvolveXL, consists of four stages:
- Idea or service/product validation
- Business validation
- Market validation
- Investment-readiness
Each participant is required to offer up to 1% equity to the program, and therefore the ecosystem, as a prerequisite for participation in the program, as well as continuous access to Envolve’s support network. EnvolveXL also offers early-stage investment opportunities in selected teams through its “Investing for Good” approach.
Annually, our investments will earmark €65,000 for micro-investments in the top five participating startups. Additionally, an additional €200,000 will be allocated for further investments in up to three startups from this group during each acceleration cycle, aiding them in their pursuit of international expansion. Through this approach, EnvolveXL will offer teams substantial support to enter their growth stage, connect with international markets, and attract new investors. Successful investments will create a cyclical effect of multiplied impact and value to support the ecosystem, through Envolve’s activities.

In addition, Envolve is organizing two online Info Days, providing clarifications regarding the acceleration program, as well as guidance for the application submission.
