Maria Gabriella Anagnostopoulos is Chief Operating Officer of Envolve Entrepreneurship, with over 11 years of experience as a stakeholder of the Greek and EU startup ecosystem, providing business acceleration, investment opportunities, and advisory for early-stage startups and the investment ecosystem. To date she actively participated in the evaluation of over 8,700 business plans from a wide range of business sectors, whilst also supporting thousands of founders with mentoring, training, and multiple acceleration programs. A stakeholder of the Greek startup ecosystem with investments & industry insights of the startup and public industry across the country and Europe.

A business owner herself, Maria Gabriella is Co-Founder of One & Olive, a multi-awarded brand in the AgriFood industry, and is mentor to multiple business owners and professionals in the startup, female empowerment and AgriTech industries.

Maria Gabriella’s previous experience includes executive and project management roles in NGOs managing research and conferences regarding European institutions and international affairs, and public affairs positions working closely with members of the Greek government.

An active member of civic society, Maria Gabriella is a Treasurer of the BoD of Panionios Sports Association, the oldest and largest sports club in Greece, and BoD Member of the Hellenic Swimming Federation. She has served as Member of Nea Smyrni’s City Council responsible for youth affairs, civic engagement, innovation and gender equality and member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Political Scientists, believing in civic participation and community work.

A US national, Maria Gabriella completed her studies in Athens, Greece. She holds a MSc in International Economics and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Athens, and an Executive Leadership Diploma, from the Said Business School of the University of Oxford.
